DIRECTOR'S NOTES
Within each of us there lies a magical power, a power so strong that it can change our lives. Its source is found within our ability to dream, to envision a life filled with possibilities. When we dream, we exit the world of the ordinary and enter the realm of the extraordinary. In the play Once Upon a Dream, we find ourselves in the Land of Nil, a dull kingdom where nothing new has happened in ages. The people of Nil no longer dream. Even worse, they have forgotten how to dream. Like a fading star, Nil has lost its sparkle. Many of us live in the Land of Nil, a land of dimming dreams. Once Upon a Dream transports us to another world, The Castle in the Sky, where we once again learn how to dream, and where dreams, like brightly shining stars, enliven and lift our spirits.CAST
